It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down
It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. The Strategy, Multiplayer, Action mix is what kept me playing; League of Legends knows what it wants to be. It helps that the premise (The world's most played competitive game, bar none.) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Pacing is generous, checkpoints are fair, and the whole thing respects your time. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

A friend recommended it and I owe them one. The Strategy, Multiplayer, Action mix is what kept me playing; League of Legends knows what it wants to be. The pitch — The world's most played competitive game, bar none. — is delivered without too much filler. Pacing is generous, checkpoints are fair, and the whole thing respects your time. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. I will be back for another run.
