Hard to put down
I already have this game for the PS3 and it's amazing, so akin to Mortal Kombat in the feel of fighting and control of your character. When I saw the Ultimate Edition I sprung for it. All the DLC characters, all the skins, and there is still incentive to play to unlock the rest of the bonus content from the archives, plus achievements. Even if you're not good at fighting games the training and practice modes make it very easiy and the moves list is easily accessible. You can even pick and choose which moves are shown in the quick moves list which is a feature I'm sure every fighter has been dying for.

I really blow at fighting games but this one is a blast
I really blow at fighting games but this one is a blast. I feel like it's both noob-friendly for those like me who've never tried a game like this before but also deep enough that extremely skilled players won't feel stunted. I'd give it a shot if it goes on sale, even if you've never given fighting games a try. Tip though: grab a friend to play it with. Loads more fun.

This is my review for Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition on PC with PS4 Wireless Controller: I purchased this game over 2 years ago prior to actually installing. Game Purchased: May 14, 2015 First Installation and play through: June 18, 2017 Casual playthrough I recommend this game. I generally do not enjoy single player game modes and usually avoid games that are not multiplayer online, however, I decided to try this game out because I was in the mood for a fighting game and the convenience of steam had this listed in my library available for download. Unfortunately at the time of installation, the online multiplayer servers for this game had zer0 players for matchmaking. After playing through the tutorial (to re-learn the basics of a fighting game without an arcade stick), I began story mode and continued on for what felt like a 4 hour movie. The game play mechanics felt like Mortal Kombat X on Xbox 360 but with more level interactions than what I remember MKX to have had. I enjoyed being able to play through different characters as the story progressed and the automatic difficulty adjustment which was dependent on the outcomes of previous fights made the game less frustrating compared to MKX. I have a habit of purchasing/starting games that I never get around to finish playing so this is the first time I have played through a full game in 1 sitting and actually cleared a story mode campaign since Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 for Nintendo Game Boy. I really enjoyed this game and look forward to playing Injustice 2 in about 4 years (2017 release). TL;DR I enjoyed this comfortable gaming session and was able to clear game in less than 6 hours played. Play it for story mode; multiplayer online servers not available.
