Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. The Action, Multiplayer mix is what kept me playing; GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- knows what it wants to be. It helps that the premise (The cutting-edge 2D/3D hybrid graphics pioneered in the Guilty Gear series have) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. The difficulty curve is gentle at first and then asks more of you, which felt right. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. I will be back for another run.
