Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. Grocery Store Simulator wears its Action, Cozy, Sim influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. On paper it is Grocery Store Simulator is a 1-4 player co-op game where you build and manage, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting in the quieter sections. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. If Action, Cozy, Sim is your thing, Grocery Store Simulator delivers it without much filler. It helps that the premise (Grocery Store Simulator is a 1-4 player co-op game where you build and manage) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. There is more content here than the price suggests. Easy recommend at full price.
