Trivial, empty and soulless
Trivial, empty and soulless. The very definition of a cash grab, as was made painfully obvious by the fact that the devs delayed the game for a month... to market it. This game sums up Codemasters as a whole in the second half of the 2010s. If not for the B team (in charge of the DiRT games), they would've gone under ages ago. The fact that they thought it was a good idea to take the weakest of their development teams and a rookie dev with a deeply questionable CV (and equally questionable programming skills), and put them in charge of the reboot of the very series that caused them to win the F1 license in the first place, is the ultimate sign that they need to be put out of their proverbial misery. Not only is even GRID 2 (rightly seen at the time as being the series' killer for being such a weak successor to the legendary original) much better, but the player count for both games reflects that as well, with GRID 2 having 3 times as many players despite being 6.5 years old. GRID 2019 even has a hard time getting over 100 concurrent players at any given time. Do not touch this game with a ten foot pole.

Great ideas, rough execution
Yeah making the highly requested Endurance mode Stadia exclusive and claiming it isn't possible on PC probs isn't the best move Codemasters. Anyone thinking of buying this, get GRID Autosport instead, loads more content than this cash grab of a game.

So basically this game: 1. rehashes old content 2. doesnt even do all half of what previous games had and pretends to be a full game 3. requires you to have 75$ edition to access new cars 4. lacks multiplayer features present in previous titles 5. dead on arrival and barely has 100 people playing 2 months after release 55$ for a demo of early access game, 75$ for the full early access game experience. good job, you have failed to revive GRID.
