This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday

This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. Gorilla Tag wears its Action, Cozy, Multiplayer influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. It helps that the premise (Run, jump, and climb using only your hands. Play tag or infection with people) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. Worth it, especially on sale.

A friend recommended it and I owe them one

A friend recommended it and I owe them one. The Action, Cozy, Multiplayer mix is what kept me playing; Gorilla Tag knows what it wants to be. It helps that the premise (Run, jump, and climb using only your hands. Play tag or infection with people) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
