Escape Simulator is a first-person puzzler you can play solo or in an online co-op. Explore a growing set of highly interactive escape rooms. Move furniture, pick up and examine everything, smash pots and break locks! Supports community-made rooms through the level editor. . . Interactive Puzzles: Rummage through 28 rooms filled with puzzles designed by real-life escape room operators. If something is not nailed to the wall, you can pick it up. . . . Online Co-Op: All the rooms are playable in an online co-op. We recommend to play built-in rooms with up to 3 players (but you're welcome to play with more). Community rooms have been tested with up to 10 people. Customize your character and join with friends to work-out puzzles together. More heads are better than one! . . . Examine Everything: Read through books, examine ancient artifacts and find clues to riddles. Need to cross-reference a clue? No, problem - just pin it to the screen. . . . Community-Made Rooms: The game includes a room editor with which you can design your own escape rooms and puzzles. Completed the game in one session with three other friends
Completed the game in one session with three other friends. We had a blast solving riddles and finding all of the hidden tokens. On a side note, this game runs really well, constant high FPS, smooth gameplay with only occasional stutterung (once per level or so). We had a few disconnects / crashes, but then those didn't bother us all that much in our 8h session. I'm pointing this out because AAA games can't reach this standard of good optimization on release - good job developers! Since the devs are working hard on adding new content and the game has workshop support I suspect we'll still be having fun playing it in the following months / years after release!

Really fun, with hours of content
Really fun, with hours of content. Sadly non of my friends play this game nor was I easily able to find people to play this game with, so currently I have unlocked all achievements except 1 achievement which is "finish one co-op game". :( EDIT: Someone saw this review and played with me :)

Really enjoyed playing through the game with a buddy
Really enjoyed playing through the game with a buddy. A fun change of pace, and some really good puzzles. However ... To play additional map packs such as those in the DLCs requires both my friend and I to buy them. That's basically the same price as the core game just for an extra level, regardless of how long that takes (hint an hour). If they'd done the EA thing where one person buys and can host for mates, then I'd have no qualms.
