Update Notes. DIRTY BOMB GOES FREE. To help us celebrate several years of Dirty Bomb we wanted everyone to be able to get their hands on Weapon Skins, on existing Obsidians, and on Mercs without spending real money. To that end, we’ve removed RADs from the game entirely. For those of you with RADs they have been converted to Credits, which can also be earned in-game.. UPDATED CREDIT EARN RATE. To make sure you guys earn whatever you want more quickly, we’ve upped the Credit earn rates from 19 per minute to around 70 per minute, but this varies based on player performance. You'll find Credit Boosters in Advancement Crates to boost this rate.. Players can also earn thousands of Credits by completing Contracts and getting their Daily Play Rewards.. ITEM COSTS. So how much does stuff cost, you ask? Let’s take a look:. Loadout Cases. Loadout Case – 5,000. . 5 Loadout Cases – 25,000. . 10 Loadout Cases – 50,000. . . Crafting. Bronze Loadout Card – 1,500. . Silver Loadout Card – 5,000. . Silver Loadout Card (Weapon Select) – 15,000. . Gold Loadout Card – 25,000. . Gold Loadout Card (Weapon Select) – 75,000. . Cobalt Loadout Card – 50,000. . Cobalt Loadout Card (Weapon Select) – 150,000
Not worth playing at the moment, game's been on a downward spiral since the MOFO update. Pushing out maps that still needs tweaking, mercs that are still overpowered regardless of their so called "balancing", weapon recoil gone through the roof over the years and some abilities that are still buggy. Not to mention that they've implemented more microtransactions in the form of skin cases to further milk the few dedicated players that still enjoy the game and continue to support the devs. (Which recently changed so credits can now be used to buy keys but they have also made credit grinding even more tedious.) Dirty Bomb 1.0 and FACEIT will not save the game if the devs don't fix the core issues that has caused so many people to quit playing the game out of frustration due to the fact that they feel as if their opinions are going into one ear and flying through the next. I really enjoy this game's core design as a fast paced shooter where any role can frag while still being a team player while being very fluid in regards to movement and I don't regret my hours invested, however due to the direction the devs are going I cannot force myself to be so optimistic about the game's survival as the numbers continue to dwindle from my favourite FPS of all time. What we can do now is hope the devs proves all of us wrong so I can actually recommend this masterpiece. Thanks for the awesome memories.
Game is great! bit crashes every 10 minutes, it's annoying, and creators don't seem to care about any support emails. -Edit: And i was right, Developers are giving up on this game and will no longer be updating it... Source? This games News.
