Better than expected

i don't even need to elaborate on the greatness of this game probably one of the most important things that has ever happened to the whole cyberpunk genre one of the most influential Cyberpunk / Political-Conspiracy / thriller / fps-RPG that set the bar high for every genre-alike game that came after 2000s i already played the game several times and this might be my last playtrough and the first on steam cause I'm an Unc (21) at the time and I'm modding the game rn while writing this review but if you want to experience the old-classic and gritty vibe of this game while having a smooth gameplay download the Kentie launcher and use OpenGL Render if needed cause applying a fps cap could potentially make your game buggy and freeze at times despite the Ui and key binds there's nothing about this game as a 2000s gem that could disappoint me in any way [ and btw you might as well don't want to skip any cutscenes trust and if you did well WHAT A SHAME ]

First time playing this game

First time playing this game. Even though it shows its' age, I still found it to be a good time. The atmosphere is on point. The soundtrack is killing it. The game is well thought out. Something that especially stood out to me is how many NPCs in this game can be talked to 3, 4, or even more times, and each time they will say something new, perhaps a new tidbit that relates to how they live under the current conditions, or about another relevant character. Perhaps they'll talk about their stance on certain topics. I don't remember the last time this much thought was put into JUST the NPCs and what they say. That's just an example of the attention to detail, and that surprised me when the age of this game is taken into consideration. I do think some of the areas later on in the game dragged on for a bit, and the upgrades you can get throughout the game are a bit hit and miss. And be prepared that you may need to apply some patches to the game to play normally - I had one of my saves cause a game crash every 10 seconds and I barely recovered by using the console. That was only once though and it's forgivable in my eyes (it's a 26 year old game). But overall, an enjoyable experience.
