Crucible is a team-based action shooter driven by the choices you make. Each match in Crucible is a fight for survival and control. Not only will you be going toe-to-toe with your fellow competitors, but you’ll have to adapt and overcome all the challenges the planet itself throws your way. You and your teammates will need to work together to take down alien creatures, capture objectives, and pursue your opponents in search of victory. HUNT LEVEL ADAPT. Whether you prefer to bring an axe to a gunfight, think that the best way to solve problems is by lighting them on fire, or want to keep your options open with multiple weapons, there’s a hunter to suit your playstyle. Crucible's 10 hunters each come with their own unique set of abilities—how you use them is up to you. Begin every match on a level playing field. Each hunter has their full array of weapons and abilities at their disposal from the word “go.” . Before each match, you’ll select which upgrades to unlock as you level up. With these upgrades, you can define how your hunter fights. Bring along additional utility and tricks or go all-in on your damage output—it's up to you. . I like this game but; No communication... like none at all besides pings that are virtually invisible. No minimap. the map you open up is extremely hard to read quickly at first. I struggle to find my own position after 20 hours of playtime or whatever. No way to add people you're vibing with in solo que. No scoreboard?... the only way to see the enemy's level is for someone on your team to face check them... as far as i can tell. Movement outside of combat is painfully slow with some hunters. The audio is confusing... you can't really tell when your hits are connecting. Like in other games like this, solo queing is really hard with leavers and feeders especially given the no communication thing. I could keep going but the point is that this is not a finished game and I definitely would not recommend this game to anyone while it is in this state. I'm hoping it gets better but these games don't tend to last long... (Lawbreakers, Battleborn, Paragon, and now this and Bleeding Edge).
Although I don't like using the "It's free to play, don't criticize it" slant to things, people are seriously being impatient with this game. It's been out for like three hours. Give it a chance...Lots of room for development still, get tired of games getting shutdown before even getting off the ground. The new trend of gamers dumping on everything right at release is wearing out and very thin, it's destroying any potential for risks to be taken on games.
