It took a year and a half of updates, but damn it's good now
It took a year and a half of updates, but damn it's good now. I have to change my review, the game is actually about building and exploration now instead of pond hut simulator. There's actually a good variety of locations now and things to do. Took forever to get the lore right too. It used to be full of just useless notes you'd already read being dropped in the dumbest of ways. Now it's actually got some story to it. I wouldn't say FUNCOM made the perfect game, but this is probably their best work now. It's no longer an empty game of click and gather. It's got a real building system and the skills aren't broken anymore. I don't change my reviews, but this right here gets a thumbs up finally.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this game after the release of battle pass and the bazaar
I cannot in good conscience recommend this game after the release of battle pass and the bazaar. I've played this game for years, though my hours played only reflect the PC version.. I've put much more hours on console. This game was always buggy, janky, but still amazing. When all other games had cash shops and microtransactions, Conan just had honest paid DLC packs that (while a bit too pricey) were complete packages. Now we have the Bazaar... Stormglass Cathedral.. Sandstone 2.. decorations.. pets.. SINGLE armors priced at DLC prices. Most of this crap should be free, I'm not spending $20 to make SANDSTONE look presentable.. Funcom should do that in a free update. This kind of monetization disgusts me. Not only are they asking $20 for single items when DLC packs gave you everything at that price.. but now there's a battlepass.. which may be even worse in my opinion. Now the anxiety of missing out on content will cause you cash cows to buy whatever stupid ♥♥♥♥ they throw at you. Really want ONE outfit? ♥♥♥♥ you, buy the battlepass before its gone forever. This is not Conan Exiles anymore.

I play the game now since Early Access
I play the game now since Early Access. And I surely had my ups and downs with it. But I just got to give this mad respect for handing out such an gorgeous version of the game. Every other company had sold this as "Remaster" for 60€ or so. Thank you Funcom
