I would say there are 4 stages i went trough when playing this game:

I would say there are 4 stages i went trough when playing this game: Stage 1: Is this it? When i started playing all the skills felt really similar to me. There are a bunch of AoE skills that all feel identical. Where was this great diverisity i read about in the steam reviews? Also the quests just couln't interest me at all. Stage 2: This is pretty cool! Once legendary/unique items start to drop the games changes radically. These items can really change how a character plays. These is also allot of depth when it comes to tweaking these items (enchanting, sockets, and more). You can also take a build-defining feature from an item and transmute it on another item. Stage 3: This is getting boring Than at some point your character becomes really strong and the game feels really easy. You just plow trough all the content and you feel like nothing can stop you. This is getting kind of boring actually.. Stage 4: Think again When you unlock the end-game maps the difficulty scales at an insane rate. You suddenly do no damage and get insta-shot. Then the games becomes interesting again. How do i deal enough damage while having enough survivability? The game actually becomes really dificult again.

You like loot filled APRGs like Diablo?

You like loot filled APRGs like Diablo? Then get this already. No long review at this time because really, the above statement is all I need to say. But I guess I can say a few other things. -Four classes with insanely diverse build options for each -Some of the best QOL I've seen in any ARPG. -Less frustration on loot because it's not about getting the god roll. It's about getting the item and then making it into the god roll over time. You always feel like you're progressing in some way thanks to the way item tweaking works. This is easily my favorite feature of the game. -Overpower, the best solution to "Resist X" ever. Just bypass the resistance. -Great controller support -Postgame "Rift" style runs A-la Diablo 3, but with more and better options. only downside, no online multiplayer, but if you have a decent connection, Remote Play is an option. Again, if you like loot focused ARPGs, get it already. Congrats to this one man dev team for pulling it off.

this is an arpg that somehow got the most important thing right while everything else wrong

this is an arpg that somehow got the most important thing right while everything else wrong. -the game looks horrible and the starting hub hurts the eyes. -there is barely any sound. -i dont think there is any music. if there was i dont remember it. -story? no. there is sort of a cut scene near the end. -0 character customization this should be a bad game. but its not. it got the gameplay perfect. and that is the most important part. you can play until the story end and then it just keeps going with random maps getting harder. the game keeps dropping new abilities and gear even after level 100. your build and gear let you go wild. with the right combo you can increase the difficulty and mobs hp by 650,000,000% even though you are still using the same level 100 equipment. the practice dummies are designed to be tested with trillions of dps on them. its an arpg you can push as far as you want without any guides or restarts. respect and rebuild anytime for free. infinite difficulty slider. path of exile has been around for 15 years and has nothing the quality of service this game has. if you want to play an amazing arpg. play this game. just know every other arpg you play next will feel like a letdown.
