CAT QUEST II is a 2D open-world action-RPG set in a fantasy realm of cats and dogs. Cat Quest II is a cute, action RPG with lots of cat and dog puns. The game is designed to be played as 2 players, but it only has local co-op. If you play solo, an AI will control the cat or dog that you aren't controlling and you can swap between them with R. Compared to the first game, there is no "fly" ability, but you can use teleports to get around the map faster called kingsmarkers. The combat's the same as the first game. Hit enemies, gain mana, roll away after seeing their attack indicators. In this game however, you can equip a ranged staff with homing projectiles at the cost of half your health which makes the game easier. The enemies have elemental weakness, so you might need to switch up what spells you use, or gear out the 2 characters differently and swap between them. The story now includes dog puns as well as cat puns. It tells about the hate between cats and dogs and how unity and friendship triumphs in the end. For achievement hunters: Collect all the spells, equipment, clear all side quests and dungeons, reach level 99 and complete the game. There might be Mew game+ challenges added at a later time like in the first game.

Relaxing game, requiring little thought, which passed the time well. My only wish, is that I had friends to play with..... or even just to talk too..... or even see. My seven cats love me though.

That was the game I spent more time this year
That was the game I spent more time this year. I played it 2 times, I played with my 4 years old son, I played with my wife, I played alone. It just perfect. I hope the third Cat Quest III come soon.
