This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. BattleBit Remastered wears its Action, MMO, Multiplayer influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. It helps that the premise (BattleBit Remastered is a low-poly, massive multiplayer FPS, supporting 254) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. If Action, MMO, Multiplayer is your thing, BattleBit Remastered delivers it without much filler. The pitch — BattleBit Remastered is a low-poly, massive multiplayer FPS, supporting 254 — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. Worth it, especially on sale.
