Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. Amazing Frog? leans hard into Action, Adventure, Multiplayer, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. On paper it is Amazing Frog? is an openworld, sandbox, physics game. Grand Frog Auto in, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Checkpoints are frequent enough that a bad run never feels punishing. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. Amazing Frog? wears its Action, Adventure, Multiplayer influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. It helps that the premise (Amazing Frog? is an openworld, sandbox, physics game. Grand Frog Auto in) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. The Action, Adventure, Multiplayer mix is what kept me playing; Amazing Frog? knows what it wants to be.
